The Keya Foundation is a community rooted nonprofit working alongside communities throughout the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. We believe in building with our community, not simply doing things for our community.

Through youth programs, community engagement, food security, and environmental justice, we bring people, resources, and opportunities together to support community led solutions. Our work is grounded in relationships, cultural connection, collaboration, and a belief that communities have the knowledge and strength to shape their own future.

We create opportunities for young people to connect, lead, learn, and have a voice in their schools and communities. Our youth programs are designed to build confidence, relationships, and leadership.

Community Engagement

We bring people, organizations, and resources together to support community priorities, create opportunities for connection, and strengthen the capacity of communities to lead their own work.
