The Keya Foundation is on its way to obtaining its 501c3 now that the government has reopened and we can continue on with that process! It will not be long and we will be running full force! Stay tuned for more updates!
We caught just a short bit of Fall weather here on the Cheyenne River Reservation. It lasted around 12 hours. From there we have pretty much went straight to cold, flurries, snow. Since the Winter Storm Atlas hit, we have been blessed with more moisture (and I say that mildly, because at this time more moisture seems maybe less than a blessing). Now 6 months ago, our area was facing the worst drought in nearly a decade, and now we are facing flooding. The below pictures show the little bit of Fall we got to witness, and the Little Moreau River running high as well some of the small creeks flooding around the area.
