Lakota women always take care of their children, they look out for their safety. They make sure no harm is going to come to them. Our mothers come to us in a variety of ways. We are born with them as mothers, aunties, sisters, grandmothers, and sometimes - we are gifted them along the way. Mother's Day is a day to celebrate the women who have contributed to the beauty of our lives.
